King returns home after Morocco visit

His Majesty King Abdullah returned home on Sunday following an official visit to Morocco.

During the visit, King Abdullah held talks with King Mohammed VI of Morocco on bilateral ties and regional developments.

At their Rabat meeting on Thursday, the two leaders voiced hope that this week’s Arab Summit would bring together a joint Arab vision to resolve regional crises and overcome common challenges. 

Talks also highlighted the importance of taking practical steps to intensify joint Arab action to better serve the interests of the Arab people and promote common causes. 

His Majesty and King Mohammed VI discussed the main items on the Arab Summit’s agenda, especially the Palestinian-Israeli peace process, the status of Jerusalem, Iraqi reconciliation, developments in Syria and Libya, and efforts to combat terrorism.

Their talks focused on international and regional efforts to revive Palestinian-Israeli negotiations based on a two-state solution.
