King visits Jordan Armament and Weapon Systems company

His Majesty King Abdullah, the Supreme Commander of the Jordan Armed Forces (JAF), on Monday visited the Jordan Armament and Weapon Systems Company, where he was acquainted with the new technologies used in manufacturing light weapons in accordance to international military standards.

During his visit to the company, an affiliate of the King Abdullah II Design and Development Bureau (KADDB) based in the KADDB industrial zone, King Abdullah toured its production lines.

His Majesty, accompanied by His Royal Highness Prince Hamzah bin Al Hussein, listened to a briefing by KADDB Director General Brig. Gen. Mohammad Habahbeh on phases of manufacturing guns, rifles and bayonets.

Habahbeh also acquainted the King with the first production of Jordanian pistols and KADDB rifles.

Towards the end of the visit, His Majesty praised the advanced level of KADDB and its affiliated companies, which help provide JAF and security agencies with defence equipment, especially light weapons.
