Translated from Arabic

In the name of God, the Most Merciful, the Compassionate,

Your Excellency Faisal Fayez,

May God bless and protect you,
Peace and God's blessings upon you,

It is my pleasure to extend to you and to your colleagues, the ministers, my best regards and wishes for happiness and success, and to express my deep gratitude and appreciation for your good achievements all through the period in which you shouldered responsibility. You worked with your colleagues with seriousness and diligence to achieve the goals we aspire to, through the plans and programmes we have charted within the framework of our comprehensive vision of what modern Jordan should be: through realising comprehensive development whose positive results are reflected on all sects of society and whose fruits are enjoyed by all Jordanians, with a level of decent living which every citizen deserves. Your honesty, devotion, belonging and shouldering of responsibility have made you worthy of my trust. May God bless you and your colleagues, for what you have offered and achieved.

Since you have submitted your resignation, I accept it, reaffirming my pride in you and your colleagues who shared responsibility with you, and my gratitude and appreciation to all of you for your achievements. You will always remain, as you have always been, close to me, dear brother, enjoying my trust, respect and appreciation.

I pray to God Almighty to protect you and your colleagues the ministers and to grant you success for what is good for your homeland.

Peace, God's mercy and His blessings upon you,

Abdullah II ibn Al Hussein
