His Majesty King Abdullah II Thursday sent a cable of congratulation to King Hamad Bin Issa Al Khalifa of the Kingdom of Bahrain on the proclamation of Bahrain as a constitutional Kingdom. King Abdullah expressed deep and sincere congratulations on this blessed occasion.

As we express support and congratulations to you and to all steps you have taken on the way of laying the principals of democracy, freedom and Shura in your prosperous Kingdom, we affirm that you, by the wisdom you have, will shoulder with full capability the national and pan Arab responsibility, supported by a history of an ancient family full of glories and accomplishments, and by your people`s trust, His Majesty said.
