King Visits Spain, Britain, US and Mexico

His Majesty King Abdullah left Amman on Wednesday in a working visit to Spain, Britain, the US and Mexico.

His Majesty will meet King Juan Carlos in Madrid today and tomorrow he will hold talks with British Prime minister Tony Blair on the current developments in the Middle East especially the increased violence in the Palestinian lands.

His Majesty will receive the international leadership award from young leaders organization in Los Angles at the United States. His Majesty will also meet a number of US economic and political activities.

His Majesty will take part in the international conference on development organized by the UN in Monterey city in Mexico. This conference will discuss problems of financing development , meeting the need to build a more stable and prosperous international society in addition to achieving progress in limiting poverty and achieving other developmental goals in the new millennium.

His Majesty is accompanied by chief of the Royal Court Fayez Tarawneh and Planning minister Basem Awad Allah. His Royal Highness Prince Faisal Bin Al Hussein was sworn in as regent in front of the Cabinet.
