Ukrainian President arrives to Amman

President of Ukraine Leonid Kochma Tuesday arrived to Amman for a two day official visit during which he is going to hold talks with His Majesty King Abdullah II on means to further boost bilateral relations between the two friendly countries, in addition to the current developments in the region.

Since 1992, Jordan and Ukraine are bind by diplomatic relations on the level of ambassadors . The trade balance between the two countries is in favour of Ukraine, where its exports to Jordan for last year reached JD. 56,9 million, compared with JD. 1 million Jordanian exports to Ukraine.

The visit, during which Jordan and Ukraine are expected to sign two agreements on economic and cultural cooperation, will be an opportunity to discuss further increasing the volume of economic cooperation between the two countries, as well as trade exchange and promotion of investment and tourism cooperation.
