King leaves for US

His Majesty King Abdullah on Wednesday left for US on a two-day visit during which he will deliver a speech at the University of Chicago on modernization and development efforts in Jordan.



His Majesty will also shed light on the importance of building bridges of understanding and dialogue among peoples of the world, particularly the youth who form the majority of Arab societies.



The King will also speak about the situations in the Palestinian territories and Iraq.



The King is accompanied by Minister of Royal Court Marwan Muasher and King's Advisor Sameer Rifai.



His Royal Highness Prince Faisal Ben Al Hussein was sworn in as Regent.
