His Majesty King Abdullah on Monday received cables of congratulations from senior officials and officers on the 49th anniversary of Karamah Battle, which falls on Tuesday.

In their cables, the officials praised the victory and sacrifices of the Jordan Armed Forces, led by the late King Hussein bin Talal, at the 1968 Karamah Battle, describing it as a turning point in the Kingdom’s history.

His Royal Highness Crown Prince Hussein bin Abdullah II also received similar cables on the occasion.
