His Majesty King Abdullah on Monday received NATO Supreme Allied Commander Transformation General Denis Mercier and an accompanying delegation for talks on cooperation and partnership between Jordan and the alliance.

The meeting, attended by His Royal Highness Prince Feisal bin Al Hussein and Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Lieutenant General Mahmoud Freihat, also covered developments in the region, especially the Syrian crisis and the conditions in Iraq and Libya, in addition to regional and international efforts to combat terrorism.
