King receives Saudi monarch

His Majesty King Abdullah received Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Saudi King Salman bin Abdulaziz, who arrived in Amman on Monday on an official visit to the Kingdom.

Upon arrival at Marka Military Airport, the Saudi monarch was welcomed in an official ceremony. The two leaders reviewed the guard of honour as a military band played the national anthem of both countries.

The Saudi king was also welcomed by Their Royal Highnesses Prince Feisal bin Al Hussein, Prince Ali bin Al Hussein, Prince Hamzah bin Al Hussein, Prince Hashim bin Al Hussein and Prince Rashid bin El Hassan.

Senior officials and officers also attended the welcoming ceremony.

Thousands of Jordanians from across the Kingdom lined the streets to welcome the Saudi king, who is accompanied by a high-level delegation.
