His Majesty King Abdullah on Tuesday met with Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, Emir of Qatar, and discussed ways to enhance bilateral ties in various fields.

Talks also covered developments in the Arab world and activating and institutionalising joint Arab action to face regional challenges.

The two leaders stressed the importance of the Arab Summit hosted by Jordan in bringing Arab countries together and strengthening their unity, to achieve the Arab nation's interests and serve its just causes. 

The meeting also addressed the main topics to be addressed at the Summit.
