King meets amir of Kuwait, Oman's deputy PM

His Majesty King Abdullah on Wednesday met with Kuwaiti Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah and discussed ways to bolster ties.

Talks at the meeting, held on the sidelines of the Arab Summit, underlined the strong Jordanian-Kuwaiti relations and the need to build on them in the best interests of the two peoples.

The two leaders also discussed the latest regional developments and stressed the need to resolve crises in the Middle East.

In addition, discussions addressed joint Arab action and the need to bolster it in the service of the Arab nation.

Also on the sidelines of the Summit, King Abdullah met with Oman's Deputy Prime Minister for Relations and International Cooperation and the Special Representative of Sultan Qaboos, Sayyid Asaad bin Tariq bin Taimur Al Said, who was leading his country’s delegation to the Summit.

Talks covered means to boost bilateral ties and addressed the latest regional developments.
