His Majesty King Abdullah on Monday received Commander of the US Central Command Gen. Joseph Votel at Al Husseiniya Palace.

Discussions at the meeting covered bilateral ties, particularly in the military field.

The meeting, attended by Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Lt. Gen. Mahmoud Freihat, also addressed current regional developments and efforts to fight terrorism within a holistic approach.
