His Majesty King Abdullah on Monday received cables of well wishes on his 56th birthday, which falls on Tuesday, 30 January, from leaders of friendly and sisterly states.

King Abdullah received similar cables from senior officials, heads of security agencies, and representatives of civil society organisations.

The senders expressed their best wishes to His Majesty, praising his efforts to lead Jordan’s modernisation and reform process despite regional challenges.
