King departs for Saudi Arabia

His Majesty King Abdullah, accompanied by His Royal Highness Crown Prince Al Hussein bin Abdullah II, departed on Sunday for Mecca to participate in a meeting convened by Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz of Saudi Arabia to discuss means to support Jordan and enable it to overcome the current economic crisis.

In addition to Jordan and Saudi Arabia, the meeting also includes Kuwait and the United Arab Emirates.

His Royal Highness Prince Feisal bin Al Hussein was sworn in as Regent in the presence of Cabinet members.
