His Majesty King Abdullah is scheduled to start a working visit to Manama, Bahrain, on Friday, during which His Majesty will meet with King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and participate in the IISS Manama Dialogue 2018 on regional security.

The meeting will be held by the International Institute for Strategic Studies from 26 to 28 October.

King Abdullah will give the keynote speech at the opening of this year’s IISS Manama Dialogue 2018, hosted by Bahrain for the 14th time since 2004.

The meeting’s sessions will focus on key international and regional issues connected to strategic security, with the participation of government ministers and senior officials representing 25 nations from across the Middle East, Africa, Europe and North America.

Participants will discuss challenges and developments in security, defence, and foreign policy in the Middle East.
