King, in phone call with Crown Prince, follows up on measures to deal with weather conditions

His Majesty King Abdullah, in a phone call on Saturday with His Royal Highness Crown Prince Al Hussein bin Abdullah II, the Regent, followed up on the measures taken to deal with the implications of the weather conditions affecting Jordan, which have claimed the lives of many citizens.

Crown Prince Al Hussein briefed King Abdullah on what has been implemented so far by various state institutions in terms of rescue and evacuation operations, as well as precautionary measures taken to ensure public safety in areas affected by severe and exceptional weather conditions around the Kingdom.

His Royal Highness stressed that he is in contact with all state institutions through the National Centre for Security and Crisis Management to follow up on the impact of the emergency weather conditions.
