His Majesty King Abdullah on Thursday received Chairman of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Saudi Arabia Gen. Fayyad bin Hamed Al Ruwaili at Al Husseiniya Palace for a meeting to discuss military cooperation between the two countries.

During the meeting, King Abdullah awarded General Ruwaili the Order of Military Merit of the First Degree in recognition of his efforts in strengthening military relations between the two countries.

Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Lt. Gen. Mahmoud Freihat, and Saudi Ambassador to Jordan Prince Khalid bin Faisal bin Turki attended the meeting.
