His Majesty King Abdullah has received cables of well wishes on his 57th birthday, which falls on Wednesday, 30 January, from leaders of friendly and sisterly states.

King Abdullah received similar cables from senior officials, heads of security agencies, and representatives of civil society organisations.

The senders commended His Majesty’s leadership in pursuit of further prosperity and progress in Jordan.

Noting that the Kingdom has become a model of moderation under the King’s leadership, they highlighted His Majesty’s diplomatic efforts and policies to promote regional and global peace.
