King meets Kuwait PM in Baghdad

His Majesty King Abdullah on Saturday met with Kuwait Prime Minister Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al Hamad Al Sabah in Baghdad.
 
The meeting, held on the sidelines of the Baghdad Conference for Cooperation and Partnership, covered means of advancing the deep-rooted bilateral ties in various fields.
 
Discussions also covered the latest regional developments, foremost of which is the Palestinian cause, with King Abdullah lauding Kuwait’s positions in that regard.
 
The prime minister conveyed the greetings of Kuwait Emir Sheikh Nawaf Al Ahmad Al Jaber Al Sabah to His Majesty, and the King asked the prime minister to convey his greetings to Sheikh Nawaf.
 
Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ayman Safadi, Director of the Office of His Majesty Jafar Hassan, General Intelligence Department Director Maj. Gen. Ahmad Husni, and Jordan’s Ambassador to Iraq Montaser Oklah Alzoubi attended the meeting.
