His Majesty King Abdullah II met in Kuwait on Monday with the Emir of Kuwait Sheikh Jabir Al Ahmed Al Sabah and congratulated him on his recovery and his safe return to Kuwait.

Sheikh Jabir expressed thanks and appreciation to King Abdullah for his good gesture which reflects the strong ties between the two countries.

His Majesty had earlier arrived in Kuwait on a short visit during which he will discuss with the Kuwaiti leadership the latest developments on the Arab level.

The King is accompanied on this visit by Chief of the Royal Court and His Majesty`s Special Advisor His Royal Highness Prince Talal Bin Muhammad.
