His Majesty King Abdullah II received a phone call from Pakistani President Pervez Musharraf today to update His Majesty on the turbulent situation in the Indian subcontinent.

During the phone call, His Majesty stressed that the world is in need for peace and to prevail the language of dialogue, emphasizing the importance of working seriously to resolve problems peacefully and through dialogue.

His Majesty and President Musharraf also discussed bilateral relations and issues of interest to both their countries.
