King, Abu Dhabi crown prince witness signing of agreement between Khalifa Fund, Crown Prince Foundation

His Majesty King Abdullah and Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the crown prince of Abu Dhabi and deputy supreme commander of the UAE Armed Forces, on Tuesday witnessed the signing of an agreement between Khalifa Fund for Enterprise Development and the Crown Prince Foundation (CPF) to support innovation, entrepreneurship, and development projects in Jordan.

Under the agreement, Khalifa Fund will present $100 million over several payments as soft loans for entrepreneurs, start-ups and small, medium, and micro projects to support entrepreneurial initiatives, with the goal of stimulating economic growth in Jordan and ensuring socioeconomic development.

The agreement was signed with the CPF as it targets thousands of young people in all the Kingdom’s governorates through its various programmes and initiatives geared towards building youths’ capacities to enable them to serve their communities.

The CPF’s focus areas are innovation and entrepreneurship, leadership and participation, and community service and volunteerism.
