His Majesty King Abdullah on Monday accepted the credentials of a number of newly appointed ambassadors to Jordan during an official ceremony at Basman Palace.

King Abdullah accepted the credentials of Mohamed Barghathi of Libya, Abdullah Habibi of Afghanistan, Haruna Ungogo of Nigeria, Khaled Sahili of Tunisia, Jilid bin Kuminding of Malaysia, Tracy Chamoun of Lebanon, and Hidenao Yanagi of Japan.

Royal Court Chief Fayez Tarawneh and Foreign Minister Ayman Safadi attended the ceremony.
