King Arrives In Jeddah

His Majesty King Abdullah II arrived in Jeddah on Tuesday on a visit to Saudi Arabia where he will perform Umra (lesser pilgrimage) and visit tomb of Prophet Mohammad.

His Majesty will also meet with King Fahd Ben Abdul Aziz, Crown Prince Abdullah Ben Abdul Aziz and other senior officials for talks on bilateral ties and the current situation in the region.

Upon arrival, the King was received by the Emir of Mecca, His Royal Highness Prince Abdul Majid Ben Abdul Aziz, a number of princes and other senior officials.

His Majesty is accompanied by a number of Royal family members, the prime minister, chief of the Royal Court, the King's advisor for Islamic affairs, chief justice and minister of Awqaf and Islamic affairs.
