His Majesty King Abdullah on Wednesday attended a military ceremony held by the United Kingdom’s Light Dragoons, which cooperates with the Jordan Armed Forces-Arab Army.

The ceremony, held in the UK, included a number of military exercises conducted by officers in the Light Dragoons, the oldest light cavalry regiment in the British Army.

Upon arrival, King Abdullah was received by the regiment’s commander.

His Majesty was briefed on the regiment’s facilities and duties, especially peacekeeping and NATO-related operations.

The King trained with the Light Dragoons after graduating from Royal Military Academy Sandhurst.
