His Majesty King Abdullah condemned the heinous terror attack that targeted the Saint Petersburg metro on Monday, killing and injuring a number of victims.

In a cable to Russian President Vladimir Putin, King Abdullah denounced the criminal act, reaffirming Jordan’s solidarity with Russia as it fights terrorism, and the Kingdom’s support for international efforts to combat the phenomenon.

His Majesty expressed his deepest sympathies to the families of the victims, and wished the injured a speedy recovery.
