King departs for Saudi Arabia, Kuwait

His Majesty King Abdullah departed on Monday for Saudi Arabia to participate in the Future Investment Initiative 2019 forum, organised by the Saudi Public Investment Fund, at the invitation of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud of Saudi Arabia.

The third edition of the forum, which will focus on global economic trends and future investment opportunities, opens in Riyadh on Tuesday with the participation of several world leaders, investors and international economic experts.

From Riyadh, King Abdullah will head to Kuwait to hold talks with Kuwait Emir Sheikh Sabah Al Ahmad Al Jaber Al Sabah on bolstering bilateral relations and the latest regional developments.

His Royal Highness Crown Prince Al Hussein bin Abdullah II was sworn in as Regent, in the presence of Cabinet members.
