His Majesty King Abdullah II discussed on Wednesday with the UN Higher Commissioner for Refugees Rudd Lubbers cooperation between Jordan and the UN especially with regard to refugees' affairs and humanitarian issues related to Iraq.



Lubbers expressed the UN's appreciation for the role played by Jordan to support refugees' issues especially during the Iraqi crisis.



He also pointed to the aid that has been provided by Jordan to ease the suffering of refugees.
