His Majesty King Abdullah on Tuesday sent a cable to French President Emmanuel Macron, expressing solidarity with him and with the people of France following the tragic fire that engulfed Notre Dame Cathedral in Paris.

In the cable, King Abdullah said the fire caused a great loss to shared human heritage, describing Notre Dame Cathedral as a precious cultural, historical, and religious symbol for people around the world.
