King to Head for Cairo Sunday

His Majesty King Abdullah II will leave for Cairo on Sunday on a brief visit to Egypt for talks with Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak on development of events in the Palestinian territories and ways to coordinate efforts to drum up support to the Palestinian position and the Arab demand for an immediate Israeli withdrawal from the Palestinian areas and an end to the siege on Palestinian President Yasser Arafat.

The King`s two-day visit will take him to Morocco and the United Kingdom . In Casablanca, King Abdullah will meet Saudi Crown Prince Abdullah, Bin Abdel Aziz, currently on a visit to Morocco, for talks on efforts designed to crystallize an Arab and international stand to put an end to Israeli occupation and pave the ground for restarting peace talks.

Prince Abdullah is expected to meet U.S. President George Bush in the coming few days.

King Abdullah arrives in London on Monday for Talks with British Prime Minister Tony Blair and to explain to him the Arab standpoint on the Israeli attack on the Palestinian people.
