King Inaugurates Jordan Valley Marriott & Spa

His Majesty King Abdullah II inaugurated the Jordan Valley Marriott Resort and Spa unveiling of the plaque at the site located at the eastern coast of the Dead Sea.



The inauguration coincides with the visit of hundreds of dignitaries, notables politicians and economists and prominent businessmen and women who are participating in the World Economic Forum. The Jordan Valley Marriott & Spa is the main host of this extraordinary meeting.



It is owned by Business Tourism Company Limited (BTC) in Amman, an affiliate of the Arab International Hotels Company Limited (AIHC).



Nadim Muasher, Chairman of the Board for BTC and AIHC said "It is an honor to have his Majesty King Abdullah 11 inaugurate the Jordan Valley Resort and Spa, which considered to be the most luxurious resort in Jordan."



"It is also of a great importance to mention that 40% of the staff at Jordan Valley Marriott Resort and Spa are residents from the Jordan Valley-Sweimeh area," he said.



"The total cost of Jordan Valley Marriott Rest and spa project was 31 million JD. The Resort has 216 guest rooms that include 450 beds providing the guests with every possible comfort," Muasher added.



Muasher also pointed out that “With the addition of the Jordan Valley Marriott Resort & Spa, AIHC has become one of the largest local companies in the hotel industry sector. AIHC has more than 1000 five star hotel guest rooms with an investment of 160 million JD. AIHC employs more than 1,200 people of which 98% are Jordanians.”
