His Majesty King Abdullah received Chief of the Australian Defence Force Gen. Angus Campbell on Sunday, and discussed military and defence cooperation between Jordan and Australia. 

The meeting, held at Al Husseiniya Palace, covered regional and international efforts to counter terrorism within a holistic approach, as well as enhancing coordination between the two countries in that regard. 

Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Maj. Gen. Yousef Hneiti, Adviser to His Majesty for Communication and Coordination Bisher Khasawneh, Australian Ambassador to Jordan Miles Armitage, and the delegation accompanying Gen. Campbell attended the meeting.
