His Majesty King Abdullah on Sunday received Chief of the Air Staff of the UK Royal Air Force Marshal Sir Stephen Hillier at Al Husseiniya Palace and discussed bilateral ties, especially in the military field.

Discussions at the meeting, attended by Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Lt. Gen. Mahmoud Freihat, also covered developments in the region, in addition to regional and international efforts to fight terrorism within a holistic strategy.

British Ambassador to Jordan Edward Oakden and the accompanying visiting delegation attended the meeting.
