His Majesty King Abdullah received Commander of the US Central Command General Joseph L. Votel at Al Husseiniya Palace on Wednesday.

The meeting, attended by His Royal Highness Prince Feisal bin Al Hussein, covered Jordanian-US ties, especially in the military field, as well as developments in the region.

Discussions also addressed regional and international efforts in the fight against terrorism within a holistic approach.

Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Lt. Gen. Mahmoud Freihat attended the meeting.
