His Majesty King Abdullah II received on Wednesday the Croatian Foreign Minister Tonino Picula who is currently on a visit to the Kingdom with the aim of developing political and economic cooperation between the two countries.

His Majesty praised, during the meeting attended by Royal Court chief and the foreign minister, relations between Jordan and Croatia which have developed since the visit of the Croatian President Stjepan Mesic to Jordan last October.

The Croatian minister for his part expressed willingness of his country to expand economic cooperation with Jordan.

Jordan and Croatia signed a number of agreements to achieve this goal.
