King receives head of Republic of Adygeya in Russian Federation

His Majesty King Abdullah, accompanied by His Royal Highness Crown Prince Al Hussein bin Abdullah II, met with Head of the Republic of Adygeya in the Russian Federation Murat Kumpilov, at Al Husseiniya Palace on Sunday.

King Abdullah asked the head of the Republic of Adygeya to convey his greetings to Russian President Vladimir Putin, emphasising the deep ties between Jordan and Russia, and keenness to bolster them in various fields.

The meeting, attended by Their Royal Highnesses Prince Ali bin Al Hussein and Prince Hashim bin Al Hussein, His Majesty’s chief royal councillor, covered opportunities for cooperation in various sectors, especially the economy, investment, tourism, and education.

His Majesty reaffirmed the important role of the Circassian community in Jordan, contributing to the country’s progress and development throughout its history.

Foreign Minister Ayman Safadi, Adviser to His Majesty for Communication and Coordination Bisher Khasawneh, Adviser to His Majesty for Policies and Media Kemal Al Nasser, Russian Ambassador to Jordan Gleb Desyatnikov and the delegation accompanying the head of the Republic of Adygeya attended the meeting.
