King receives invitation from Saudi monarch to attend Arab Summit

His Majesty King Abdullah on Tuesday received an invitation from Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz of Saudi Arabia to participate in the upcoming Arab Summit, slated for 15 April, in the Saudi city of Dhahran.

The Regent, His Royal Highness Prince Feisal bin Al Hussein, received the invitation during a meeting at Al Husseiniya Palace with Prince Khalid bin Faisal bin Turki, the Saudi ambassador in Amman.

At the meeting, the Regent said Jordan, led by King Abdullah, is committed to ensuring the success of the upcoming summit, so that it produces decisions that activate joint Arab action and serve the causes of the Arab nation, in fulfilment of Arab peoples’ aspirations to live in peace and security.

Royal Hashemite Court Chief Fayez Tarawneh and Foreign Minister Ayman Safadi attended the meeting.
