His Majesty King Abdullah on Sunday received a delegation from the National Defence College of the United Arab Emirates at Al Husseiniya Palace, and discussed Jordanian-Emirati cooperation, as well as regional developments.

During the meeting, King Abdullah affirmed the deep-rooted ties shared by the two countries and the advanced level they have reached.

Discussions covered regional crises and efforts to resolve them politically, in addition to regional and international efforts to fight terrorism within a holistic strategy.

For their part, the UAE delegates said their country appreciates Jordan’s role, led by His Majesty, in the service of Arab causes and in pursuit of regional stability and security.

Royal Hashemite Court Chief Fayez Tarawneh, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Lt. Gen. Mahmoud Freihat, and Director of the Office of His Majesty Jafar Hassan attended the meeting.
