Walid Masri was sworn in before His Majesty King Abdullah on Wednesday as minister of municipal affairs and minister of transport.

Prime Minister Hani Mulki and Royal Hashemite Court Chief Fayez Tarawneh attended the swearing-in ceremony, which took place at Al Husseiniya Palace.

A Royal Decree was also issued on Wednesday, based on Prime Minister Mulki’s recommendation, to accept the resignation of Jamil Mujahed from his position as transport minister as of 17 January 2018.
