in Damascus for a short visit to Syria.

His Majesty was received by Syrian President Bashar Al Assad, Vice
President Abdel Halim Khaddam, Prime Minister Mohammad Mustafa Miro,
Foreign Minister Farooq Al Shara` and senior Syrian officials.

Iraq. The King warned that striking Iraq forms a catastrophe
to Iraq and the region at large , as well as a threat to the region`s
stability and security.
