His Majesty king Abdullah II will leave Amman
for Washington on Wednesday on an official visit to the United States
where he will hold talks with US President George Bush and senior officials
from the US administration on the political and security situation in
the region in light of the dangerous situation in the Palestinian lands.

met Executive Secretary General of the Economic and Social Commission
for Western Asia (ESCWA) Mervat Tallaway, who highly appreciated King
Abdullah`s continued support to the organization`s activities and programs.
She extended an invitation to King Abdullah to chair ESCWA`s upcoming
meeting devoted to discuss topics on information technology.

During his chairmanship of the Consultative Economic Council's (CEC) session, His Majesty King Abdullah II Wednesday approved the National Strategy for Administrative Reform in the public sector, prepared by CEC, with the cost of JD. 1,415 m. His Majesty urged the government to rapidly implement the strategy.
