His Majesty King Abdullah on Wednesday met with Somalia President Mohamed Abdullahi Farmajo, who was leading his country's delegation to the 28th Arab Summit.

Discussions, held on the Summit’s sidelines, covered conditions in Somalia and the need to support Mogadishu to achieve security and stability.

The two leaders also exchanged views on regional and international efforts to combat the threat of terrorism within a holistic strategy.

King Abdullah congratulated the Somali president on his election.
