His Majesty King Abdullah on Tuesday received Kazakh Minister of Defence and Aerospace Industry Beibut Atamkulov and discussed bilateral ties and means to expand cooperation, especially in defence industries.

Discussions at the meeting, attended by Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Lt. Gen. Mahmoud Freihat, covered current regional developments and efforts to fight terrorism within a holistic approach to counter its threat to global security and stability.

Adviser to His Majesty and Director of the Office of His Majesty Manar Dabbas, Adviser to His Majesty and National Policies Council Rapporteur Abdullah Wreikat, and Kazakh Ambassador in Amman Azamat Berdibay attended the meeting.
